Stephen Wiltshire MBE is a British artist known for his ability to draw detailed, accurate cityscapes after seeing them just once — often from a single helicopter ride over a city. Diagnosed with autism as a child, Wiltshire found his voice through drawing, later earning the nickname “the human camera” for his extraordinary capacity to recall and render skylines, streets, and landmarks entirely from memory.
This page is a small tribute to that gift: each drawing below is revealed the way his own work seems to appear to onlookers — line by line, gradually, as though being sketched in real time.
